By Dane HowellInjuries: Anthony Brown, Nolan Carroll, Chidobe Awuzie, and Kavon Frazier. Anthony Brown: a leader in the Cowboys secondary who has been dealing with an ankle issue. This issue had him limited in Friday's practice. Keep in mind Brown is no doubt the most dominate CB on the Cowboys roster with 15 tackles and 1 int. Nolan Carroll: had suffered a concussion in week 2, but was listed as full in Friday's practice. Nolan Carroll will be playing in Sunday's game and will be adding depth to the Cowboys hurting secondary. On top of that, Chidobe Awuzie was listed as full on Friday and looks ready to go for the game on Sunday vs. the Packers. Coming in to help with the struggling SS position is Kavon Frazier. He was listed as full on Friday and will be playing Sunday vs. the Packers. RB Injuries: Zeke Elliott After the loss against the LA Rams Elliott suffered bruised ribs, but he still practiced “full” all week. There will be no issues going into Sundays matchup vs. the Packers OL/DL Injuries: Tyron Smith, and Stephen Paea. The Tyron Smith back injury has been a reoccurring thing in his time with the Dallas Cowboys. It isn’t a whole lot to worry about, but the Cowboys will need to be worried about who will in the left tackle spot if Tyron Smith does not play. He was listed a questionable as he did not practice all week. With a knee injury, Stephen Paea has not practiced all week, this has left him as questionable for Sunday's matchup vs. the Packers. The Cowboys will be hoping he can play as they will need all the help they can get going up against Aaron Rodgers and his squad. Charles Tapper was placed on the IR making room for David Irving. LB Injuries: Sean Lee, and Anthony Hitchens. The captain and leader of the Cowboys Defense, Sean Lee, did not practice all week with hamstring issue. He was listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup. As the Cowboys defense showed last week against the Rams, they really need Sean Lee on this defense. Linebacker Anthony Hitchens has made a full recovery and full in practice all week, he is guaranteed to play Sunday and will be splitting reps with Jaylon Smith. Impact Players David Irving: He will make his return this week vs. the Packers and we all know what happened last time he went up against the packers, let’s just say it was almost like a DeMarcus Lawrence like performance. Him coming back should be a show as the Packers will almost certainly be double teaming Tank Lawrence. This will be an interesting one so strap in Cowboys Nation. Dez Bryant has shown more slight improvement coming into week 5, but it's time the Dak to Dez connection really kicks into gear and there is no game better to do it than week 5 against the Packers. Dez Bryant is on of the most exciting WRs to watch in the NFL but he will need to show some spark this week… and let me just say #DezCaughtIt Jourdan Lewis: With already 1 int on the year and some great tackles on the line of scrimmage, Lewis is bound to keep coming out of his shell as the year comes along. He has been a bright light in the Cowboys defense and for the rookies. I would expect even more of him this week vs. the Packers DeMarcus Lawrence: with 7.5 sacks on the season and having at least 1 sack in each game, how could I not put this man on my list. This week he is pretty much guaranteed to get a double team, but we all know this means someone will be free. We are hoping that free man will be David Irving the man with the 7 foot 3 inch wing span. If I am Rod Maranelli I am blitzing a lot this week. Zeke Elliott: With his performances getting better each and every week, we have seen Elliott really getting back into his actual form. He really has started to get into mid-season form when in week 4 he had 85 yards rushing and 54 receiving yards and 2 TD's. Expect him to continue this going into week 5. Runner Ups Dak Prescott: Dak has been pretty much on the dot all year and is one of the most accurate QBs in NFL history. He has been keeping up his great performances all year, but he has to get better at keeping the defense off the field as much as possible. On top of that he will need to start getting his connection with Dez on track. Terrance Williams: All year long he hasn’t gotten any respect for how great he has been playing. He has pretty much been Dak’s #1 all year long and has been playing great (Other than the 2 key drops last week...). T-Will has been spectacular all year along side Brice Butler who also has really stood out this year. Xavier Woods: He has been great all year filling in all types of different positions in the secondary. He is a great tackler and a great man in coverage. He is something great to look forward to going into week 5 and going into the future.
