Ezekiel Elliott’s 6-game suspension by the NFL was upheld yesterday by Harold Henderson in court. Zeke has been cleared to Play Week 1 vs. the Giants because the temporary restraining order that Elliott and the NFLPA filed against the NFL is still pending. If the state of Texas grants the restraining order, the Dallas Cowboys will likely have Zeke all season. Now this will cause the case between Elliott and the NFL to go to federal court and that can take months upon months to settle, which means while all that is going on Zeke will be able to play. It could play out very similar to how the Tom Brady Deflategate case went down and take almost 2 years to resolve. So to sum it up, Ezekiel Elliott is 100% playing Week 1 vs. the Giants, but after that it all depends on how the state of Texas handles his restraining order.
