By Adam CollinsWith the 50th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft the Dallas Cowboys select... Connor Williams, OL Texas I absolutely loved this pick. Picking an O-Lineman is never the sexy pick, but as we've seen in Dallas it certainly pays off. Ever since Doug Free retired after the 2016 season the Dallas Cowboys have been in search of a LG. La'el Collins has played a little guard, but his best position is definitely RT. Connor Williams is the LG that the Dallas Cowboys have been searching for. He is a combo lineman, meaning he can play guard or tackle. After a bit of a down season last year, the Great Wall of Dallas has officially been rebuilt. Think about this O-Line: RT: Tyron Smith LG: Connor Williams C: Travis Frederick RG: Zack Martin RT: La'el Collins Williams was the missing piece to the puzzle and I'm stoked that he gets to stay and play for his hometown team. Williams would have been a for sure 1st round draft pick if it weren't for the knee injury that bugged him last year. Luckily for the Cowboys, he's feeling good and is ready to go. Take my word on this one, we got a steal.
