Well, it is that time of year. The season kicks off in just over two months from now. And it’s time to do what every sports analyst would do…make a prediction on the upcoming season.

Last year, the Cowboys had a historic season. With the best record in franchise history of 13-3 and winning the NFC East. Along with the two superstars, Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, breaking several records in their rookie seasons. They did not look like rookies in their first season in the NFL, they looked like ten year veterans. And with the success they had last year, the Cowboys will be just as good, if not better than they were last year.

To start, I predict that the Cowboys will go 15-1 this upcoming year. With their only loss being at Denver in Week 2. Denver is a tough atmosphere to play in and intimidating to most teams in the league. However, the Cowboys did win at Heinz Field last season vs the Steelers. So I predict a close game with the Broncos with the Cowboys falling just short. The Cowboys will then go on to win every single game. They will once again win the NFC East and go on to the Super Bowl to play the expected Cowboys vs Patriots matchup. And then they will go on to win the Super Bowl and tie the Steelers for the most super bowls won at six.

Now for the “not so rookie-like” rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. Dak Prescott had a total of 3,661 passing yards last year. With 23 touchdowns and 311 pass completions. I predict that this year, Dak will throw for over 4,000 yards and have 350 to 400 pass completions. Which would make him have the highest rookie passing rating for two years in a row. Ezekiel Elliot on the other hand had 1,631 rushing yards and averaged 5.1 yards per carry with 15 touchdowns. I predict this year, Ezekiel Elliot will have 2,000+ rushing yards and will have 30 touchdowns when the season is over. Ezekiel will also average 10 yards per carry.

All we can do now is wait for the action to unfold. The Cowboys open up the 2017 campaign on September 10th vs none other than the New York Giants.
